All you guys having fuel pump/sender issues, have you taken a poll to see what fuel or additives you're running and seeing if there's a possible connection there? I know a year or so ago shell had a problem with too much sulfur that was creating pump problems. I, myself always run top tier gas but sometimes I wonder if even though it's supposedly keeping injectors cleaner if it's having a negative effect on the fuel pump or electronics in the tank. I have no idea if this is a possibility, just wondering what if.

I get gas from a multitude of different stations, no additives. Truck also rarely sees less than 1/2 a tank.
Update on my truck, dealer has had it since yesterday, heard nothing back. I called at 11am, the tech working on my truck was on another call. 1:30 now, no call back.
Talked to the tech today, it is the fuel level sensor. They are replacing it for $550 OTD, not covered under the power train warranty.

You did better than I did. ($700 OTD)
So this isn't covered by the power train warranty ?
