Just thought I'd pipe up and say I run the 89/91 octane (rev B) tunes from Sean, and I do not have any shuddering.

How long have you been running it? I didn't have issues with mine either until around the 3 month mark driving it daily.

He told me the rev B has some tq management removed but not as much as the race tune. I also tried running his 91 street tune which doesn't have any tq management removed and my truck still shuddered.

I just installed the 91 canned tune on my truck this morning and no shudder at all at idle or 2-3 3-4 or 4-5.

Sean just sent me a new tune to try and he thinks it is the new TCM update by Chrysler causing it on the 8spds. Mine is a 6spd though with same issue.

I will install and test the new tune today and report back.

I totally agree. My truck use to run great with his tune and since then my truck has had 2 PCM/TCM updates. I emailed Sean so we will see what he can come up with. Looks like these new updates aren't playing well with his tunes.

Tuners do nothing with 8spd. rather they told you something about that or not. The torque management control is the only parameter they changing and that is the one making your shifting better or worse. In most of the cases is worse as giving wrong data to TCM. This causes shudder, slippage etc.

Ran the HF Rev B 91 tune for a bit and the slippage at idle is gone except when at idle uphill, then it is slight. Also the gear searching and slipping when cruising 2-3, 3-4, 4-5 and downshift from 5-3 for passing.

I can feel the TQ Management was added back in a bit and the Throttle response was calmed down some as well.

So Sean sent me the B tune and it worked great but felt the throttle response was lacking.

He added some back in and his "91 C" tune is working great so far. Hit him up for that tune and see if it helps you too.

I have been running it since October of last year. Not saying you don't have an issue, just stating that its not everyone.

Sean has been working with me the past couple of days and it looks like with the latest PCM/TCM updates the shuddering is coming from the tunes where he did additional timing on the shifts. Once I use his street tune (stock tq management) or his normal 91 with tq management removed then it shifts fine. Still testing his normal 91 tune out but so far so good. Even though this issues has been a pain Sean has been going out of his way to get it sorted out and is great to work with!
