What muffler would be best to put on my 2015 ram? Was between borla or magnaflow. I have 2014 as well and I have a flowmaster but for me it's still not loud enough. Just the muffler not the whole system. Any suggestions?

It was 40 series and that's on my 2014. I just got a 2015 ram and wanted to change the stock muffler to something louder. It's got the hemi.

Flowmaster 40 is already pretty loud. If you want loud don't bother with a Magnaflow. It sounds like you just need to straight pipe it.

Flowmaster 10 will be the loudest muffler out there next to a straight pipe. Personally I've had one, I've had a straight pipe, and magnaflow. They all IMO don't compare to my MBRP. Deep aggressive sound, very little drone, and they're Canadian so that's a huge bonus for me lol.

You'll get a good bit of drone with a flowmaster 10, I did anyway.

Muffler delete! Cold start is loud, but it idles down and sounds great with my catted Lt's. If you want nasty loud, IMO, cut the cats and run true duals with a 10 series flowmaster. https://youtu.be/L8ylYUpNgkU

Borla, Carven, Aero, Magnaflow Bullets, Etc. Those will all have a "cleaner" sound than the Magnaflow in my opinion. If you want LOUD then you need a tiny muffler or no muffler.

Choosing a sound for your vehicle online is a challenge,,,
Try a Borla and tell us what you think.

It's funny people say try this muffler and see what you think. It's not like trying on a pair of shoes before you buy them.

To some folks,,, it is!!! LOL!!!

I already know what I like,,, Absolutely NONE of the OP's choices, so what do you do with a person who can't make up their mind???

About all you can do is listen to what they think they want,,,

He sez he's heard good things about Borla, so, what else can we say????

Get a Borla and tell us what you think!!!!

I certainly wouldn't by any muffler based on what someone else on a forum might think, as,,, sound is quite subjective,,,, 'Music' to one person is 'pure ***' to another,,,

(Hey,,,, Isn't thunder pony a borla guy??? :) I almost miss that 'no one eat's in my truck! guy!!! LOL!!!i)

I have a 22 inch magnaflow and no resonator (6.4L hemi) I think it sounds great right now. It will get a bit louder when it gets broken in - then I will like it even more.

I have the MBRP cat back on my 2015 and I am so happy I chose that set up... Deep aggressive sound on start up and idle and when you are driving and lay into the throttle that puppy wakes up and growls.
