2500 E-Fan?

What are the pros, cons of e-fan conversion on a 2500? Engine temp got up to 220 a few times in the past while carrying my snowplow.

You fan clutch should have engaged fully at that point.
I would not advise switching over to electric, but perhaps put a 'helper' electric fan in there.

I've not looked on mine to see what kind of room there is in there, but I'd guess you could fit in a nice 18-20" lo profile electric in the factory shroud to pull through a TON more air at lower RPMs.

THere should be plenty of room for Aux fans. I know the CTDs have been adding them to help the AC while idling. While not the same of course but you can't be the first guy with this problem.

I did the v-6 fan swap removed The mechanical fan installed jet 180° thermostat and adjusted fan on off ,mine never comes close to 200 degree, it's a RAM 2500 4x4 hemi 2013 6 speed auto ,I pull, skidders, tractors, camper and a snowplow, hope you figure it out

My 2012 has a mechanical and electric. Although I think the electric only come on for the a/c. Mine never goes above 212* pushing it as hard I feel comfortable. 75mph up hill towing at 4xxx rpms.
