Running the C + would give you a fantastic flush and give your xsmn a higher overall % of Redline only inside .

Yes I am. figured I have it, it's outstanding fluid and when I get to installing the MH pan, It will be a great C+ flush.....just like you said.

Well she took 6 qts of C+ last night, and I must say, there is a bit of work getting the levels correct. No leaks and she's good to go, here is the temp after an hour drive on a SoCal freeway in bumper to bumper traffic.

I'll double check the fluid level again, when I get home from work tonight.

Side note: shifting seems a bit smoother with the new filters and the C+

That's great I'm glad it worked out! I noticed right away my trans shifted better with C+ but I wasn't 100% sure it wasn't the placebo effect.

6 quarts sounds right for the stock pan. Just in case you didn't know, make sure to check the fluid level in Neutral not park. The pump doesn't run in park...

Thats crazy good temps. When im on the freeway in the 70+ degree summer my tranny is always around 170.

When i take a 15 min drive through down town in the winter (below 20 degrees) it is around 90-110.

Yup. Temps were the same since day one. Hot days its around there.

May have to do with the fact that it's in a bigger heavier truck. More wind resistance as well. Just works it harder

Oh yeah that's right you have a 3500, thats probably it.

I find my trans temps skyrocket if I sit and idle the truck in park when it's hot out. Like it goes up 30+ degrees in 10mins of idling. I have to put it in neutral to get the pump going which helps to an extent but it still climbs while idling...
