Sounds like you may have a problem with the trans or too much lead foot.

I'd say 8 times out of 10 when I'm at a stand still and I floor it it spins and instead of going into second it just redlines until I let go off the throttle. It does it on D or if a manually shift it. I'd appreciate any opinions or guesses on what my problem could be.

Its stock other than a vararam intake, catch can and a welded on magnaflow. Well it looks like I'm going to have to take a trip to the dealer. Will I need to remove the intake and catch can and put the factory one before I take it in?
