There was discussion about this cover clearing on the 4th Gen Upper Frame Piece but I'll let Matt Comment about that. This cover has everything you will need! I did a thread on the Install (3rd gen though)

As long as you're no lowered the Mag-Hytec will clear just fine on a 4th Gen. If you are lowered, two minutes and a sawz-all will take care of the clearance issue.

How much of a lowered for clearance? Like 2" rear level, 2/4, etc?

I can't say for a 2" rear drop, but a 4" for sure needs the piece cut off.
As far as Matt and I can tell is the piece serves absolutely no purpose.

Im wondering since the increase in capacity is there no need for grinding if you want to do a 4.56 gear swap?

I'm thinking of spending a little tax return money and getting the mag hytec for the truck. How much extra fluid were you guys able to use and did you use more than 4oz of the mopar limited slip additive? Thx

I just installed my Mag Hytec cover this evening and put 5 quarts of Royal Purple 75W90 in there. The Royal Purple already has the LSD additive in there which is a nice plus. I only have about 1/8" of clearance between the track bar and the cover, but after driving for 30 miles, it did not make contact. I purposely hit bumps at speed and twisted the suspension going up steep driveways at an angle, and it never touched. The upper frame mount that Tyler had to cut also does not appear to be an issue on mine with a 2" rear drop.

What's your price on these Matt? Do you offer a package deal? Diff + Tranny?
