Airaid CAI installed on 4.7

I got around to installing my intake last night, I love it so far. It really goes well together with the exhaust and 93 performance tune.

Looks awesome. That's the 1 I want. What year is your truck? The filter looks huge, almost makes the engine look smaller.

Oh I'm interested, but I have gears and a locker to put in first, then a tq converter. After that I was thinking a throttle body unless somebody comes out with some effing headers for my motor

at the time of purchasing my truck, i could not afford one with the hemi and 4x4 like i wanted

Me too, i had my clutch fork snap on my car and my backup old 93 k1500's transmission lost 3rd and 4th hear. I took one day off to shop and stretched my budget to get this truck at 22k. I knew i wanted 4wd, but couldn't afford both the Hemi and 4wd. I took a day off of work to buy the truck, and could only drive there in 2nd gear with my trade in. Now trying to catch up in the power department.

Yes, I have 4.7 and 4x4

I have a new muffler and bully dog gt running the 93 tune. Now I need an intake next. Seems the cheapest place I can find this cai is race-mart for 328$ . anyone else see it cheaper?

Mine is also a 4x4 4.7 I wouldn't own a 2wd truck ever again.
**Shrugs** It's got all the power I need and then some. It's nicer on the inside than an express 5.7 that I might have been able to find around the same price as my SLT 4.7.
It also made the same year Silverado that was parked next to it look cheep.

It tows my extra light weight camper like a champ and the truck is rated double my campers gross weight.I bought it used with 14000 miles on it. I wasn't looking to by brand new and the dealer happened to have it at a price I liked with my trade in.
