Just curious if it really is worth it, because when winter comes might regret changing it cause it already takes long enough to to warm up n get to temp?

If that's all your doing, then no. Adding a tuner, CAI, etc mods, then yes. But agree, winters around the corner, I'll take my heat please :)

Man I want to make a joke about not enough heat in Tx but I would just be a northern jerk then.
Any ways will you gain tons, no
if you were planning to get the best time at the strip then yes I would do it with an E-fan as well.

It's a helpful mod if you're looking to start cooling the engine sooner for towing or if you want to have more consistent times at the track, anything else you hear is just hot air. As for not heating up ... I live in Alberta and work in the north with a 180 T-stat in my truck, heats up just fine, well, as fine as it can be in -40.

I worked in north Dakota last winter with the 180* thermostat installed and had no problems with warm up. Even in -20 everyday

These newer Rams have a thermal management system to regulate temps. You really want your oil to reach 212 to boil off any condensation.
