Why are you comparing your truck to mine? You have way more mods, no comparison.

Your rt weighs over 6000?!? Or a different truck?!

Fully loaded crew cab 2014 Sport. Sunroof, fiberglass tonneau, R/T 22's, bedliner, toolbox, etc. It adds up fast...especially when I'm in it.

I know there was some discussion about the accuracy of the track scales vs public scales elsewhere. I guarantee the track scales are closer. We run 2 Pro Mod cars as well as 2 X275 cars (one of the 275 cars won No Mercy V at SGMP last night)...we've checked those scales against our corner weight scales and they're spot on. We have to be spot on with the weight we run in the cars or we can get disqualified....."certified" public scales just have to be in the ballpark.

Try reading my post again. I very clearly stated that the weight makes all the difference in the world....that was the comparison. All the power in the word won't matter if the truck is pig fat.

I'm gonna have to go weight my lifted 2013 CC sport 4x4 , sunroof, bed liner , lift kit, 35x12.5x20's . Enough power over comes weight every time. If it didn't my 2003 qc wouldn't run low 8's . I do understand your truck is heavy though.

My lowered 2wd crew cab F250 with a twin turbo Cummins in it ran 11's at 7600 lbs. 900+ HP will do that for ya. lol

If you take the 6000 I scaled at and work backwards, removing the 260lbs I weigh, bedcover, bedliner, 48" wide chest toolbox, etc....you basically get back to roughly the advertised curb weight. It's not a big deal to me...I'm not building a race truck, I just wanted a baseline for the gear change.

The issue with these trucks is....adding all the available bolt on's and a good tune still isn't worth THAT much power. You can make them fun for sure....but 12's or faster is a rarity with a Ram. The 3.92's will just offset the weight I'm about to add for next years competition audio system. I'll add at least 500lbs...probably more.

My R/T with me in it and half a tank came in at 5300 or so on the same scales as unbroken is talking about.

Tell you what though, that place filled up FAST

Still sounds like the scales were heavy because without you in it the R/T should be just above 4800.

Not really....~4800 + SRT reps + spray in bedliner plus Dub is about my size. Sounds just about right.
RPR calibrates their scale regularly...always have. I've been racing there for over 20 years and it's always been good.

Spray in bed liner is maybe 20 pds, and I doubt srt 22's are any heavier than the stock rt 22's

He and I swapped wheels last week...I guarantee the SRT's are heavier. cast 10" wheel vs forged 9" and 305/40 vs 285/45

How the hell is a rcsb heavier than my 03 qc??!!! Lol

My R/T was even heavier with the audio system and everything else. 4th Gens are heavy from the get-go.

Did I mention I have a gooseneck hitch in mine that's probably 200 lbs? Though I did take my spare tire out and I also had my exhaust pipes from the muffler back off. It was probably close to being equal.

Those trucks are just over 5000lbs from the factory right?

I'm still curious to see what my runs after I get it tuned and the Longtubes on. Matt I'll be coming by this week!! Just been crazy these past couple weeks. So far it's been running strong for having close to nothing done to it. I just need some new tires, would be pointless to make a pass down the strip on stock ****** goodyears.

I will say even launching with the oem torque converter maxed out I was hooking pretty darn well with these SRT-10 wheels and tires.
