I've been keeping an eye on the timeslip thread but I don't recall seeing any times....

Any one run their 8 speed (specifically RC/SB) down the track yet?

Nice times! Makes me think a R/T will be 13.6 - 13.9 on a good day (if your truck is stock...lol)

Your R/T should be 13.9-14.0 on a good day.

Mine is all stock other then a 180 tstat, clutch fan delete, Ported TB and a tune.

Actually, I don't have one yet but I may be trading my Challenger in on one next year...lol

I test drove an R/T in late 11 and was not impressed; at the time, I had a TrailBlazer SS (Ran 13.89 tune only) and that would have whipped the R/T's ass

I'll be running my 2014 R/T 8-speed at Royal Purple raceway next Friday, Sep 26th. It's bone stock except that it'll have SRT-10 wheels and tires, so this will be a good baseline.

Still on 20's and in a 1488 DA

True, I was just meaning no intake or exhaust... which usually is a given IMO on most trucks. Especially tuned ones.

Speaking of that why don you have a intake or exhaust. I understand it wont make you runs 12s, but I would assume it would help some.

With that said. I like that your are going against the norm sorta. Most people get a CAI, exhaust first. Plus you do have some good times.:)

I am getting to it lol Trust me I know it will help.

This is my daily that I am modding out of sheer boredom, what was free to do, and what was so cheap I had to buy it. I always go against the grain!

My 454 LSX race truck gets most of the loving.

With your times It's probably not even worth spending money on a CAI or exhaust.

Yeah in a good DA it will already be the fastest N/A 4th gen QC as she sits, sad... that is very sad! IDK or very cool lol

My plan is to do the exhaust and tune for it. Expect at least 13.5 in a 0 DA full weight with no prep. And maybe give in and prep the truck and borrow my friends slicks setup then go for a 12.9

IMO both of those times are in reach and not exaggerated.

Now's the time with the cooler weather coming. Would make a perfect scenario...

With weight reduction I could see you hitting high 12s...
Drop that 60' a couple tenths and you will be there..

I was running a detuned launch to get traction before. Turn it up to full timing and slicks it shouldn't be hard.
