Anyone know inlet/outlet muffler size for 2014 1500?

I've searched around google, and called around shops and I can't get a straight answer. I've read its 3 in and and dual 2.25 out, 3 inch in and 2.5 dual in out.

But everyone I call cant really find an answer.

Has anyone actually measured the OEM muffler inlet and outlet size?

I got under there with calipers. It's about 2.9" inlet and about 2.2" outlet on mine.

3" in dual 2 1/4" out. If you are welding it in 2.5 put is fine

Thanks for the replies. I called a muffler shop and they told me I would be safe getting a 3in and dual 2.5 out. They said if it was off by a .5in they would "make it work and not to worry." They said they'd install it and weld if need be for only $80. I'll take it. I ordered a super 10! Super excited for Monday. I'm thinking about doing a before and after video as well.

Way to go--

My super 10 has been STUPENDOUS--I left the dual resonators in, so the sounds, even with my 5"x18" tips-is pretty acceptable-

That's a good price for the install--just ask them to be sure to do a FULL CIRCULAR WELD JOB--you don't want any leaks that close to the cab--
