On my brother's 2016 Chevy, on the factory exhaust system we took off it I noticed it has a spring loaded valved near the muffler that controls a plate that opens and closes, seems to work similar to that of the dynomax VT muffler as it is spring actuated and appears to open more as more air/higher rpms, anyone tried adding something like this to their aftermarket exhaust to cut down on drone?

Nope. Buy a Corsa system, no drone ever. You'll spend 3-4 times more then the carvin junk everyone buys, but inturn you get a quality system that has zero drone
