You shouldn't have to pull the radiator to install. If anything you might have to remove the clutch fan (if not already done) and the fan shroud to use the tool. You can rent these I believe.

Thanks, I will try and find the correct puller. I tried the one I had and it was too big as I could not get puller to correctly grab stock harmonic balancer.

I had to get a Chrysler specific puller. It was a hit of a pain. I got it done though. I damaged the seal to, so it leaks a little bit now too.

That is your best bet, especially if you actually wanted to install the damper. Idk what the ATI Damper is worth for power but it is not worth losing money because you couldn't install it lol. You got this!

Thanks all. I will rent puller from advanced or pep boys. I do have a new seal and crankshaft bolt that I will install as well.

Least favorite thing I've ever installed on my truck. And I've done it twice!! But the gains were felt immediately.

You can hear a difference and smoother is a good way to describe it.

Any pics of the install you can share or snap a shot of it installed? Looking to do this down the road and any tips would be helpful. I think I have a leak upfront on mine and I might do this while I'm poking around :)

Any updates on this? This and a TB are my last mods to the engine until I need new lifters, then its cam time.

I personally noticed nothing tangible.....however I'm still happy I did it since I knew I had the best harmonic balancer available bolted on.

And yes, the stock balancer was a PIA.....broke my puller getting it off and had to go buy a 3 jaw puller....that wasn't easy either, but it finally came off.

Taking of my ATI underdrive pulley to put the overdrive one on was even WORSE.

Why overdrive vs. underdrive?

Thanks for the info as well.

I'm debating on getting one of these. A little pricey though.

Overdrive because I ended up bolting up a procharger. Overdriving the supercharger and I build boost faster and have a lot more fun. Underdrive would be counterproductive while supercharging, but would theoretically free up some HP on an NA motor.

No trouble at all and I run 2 big amps and a 12" sub. I also switched out to the v6 efan and 180 stat. Great upgrade!
