Battery issue!

Long story short my battery dropped a cell over night. Internal short I believe. Anyways I found out that the 2014 Ram I have had a 96R group size battery and I want to get another one but I don't think Optima makes one for our trucks. Is there another good manufacturer of battery that has a group size 96R? What have you guys done with your batteries? Btw my bumper to bumper was up 686miles ago so I'm kinda screwed. I don't mind spending money but I also don't want to pay for a $300 battery either.

Let me know what you guys think or recommend?

Yes it is in the 300$ region, but you get way more than the shiny yellow battery

What's the difference between the 94r and 96r battery?

I was hoping the Diehard Platinum series would carry the 96r, but I can't seem to find it or any other decent battery around locally. Any other suggestions? I like the Northstar battery but I don't know where I could get one locally if it actually fits?

the H7/94R is actually the correct battery for the truck

Looks like odyssey has a PC1220 and a PC1220-A that fits. I wonder how they compare with Northstar?

If I read the specs correctly, Odyssey is a lead acid battery and the CCA is 680A
Northstar is an AGM battery and the CCA is 840A

Yeah I just read that.. Well I may end up going with a Diehard Gold/Platinum series which is AGM and Sears is having a 25% off sale on batteries. I am trying to get this locally. So far that seems to be my best bet?
