Battery Life

Ok.. looking for some reports on battery lifes.

I'm on a 2012 sport so, standard for me has always been 5 years and replace it. But seeing as they are 200 out the door, I'd rather buy something cool for 200 and ride out the battery as long as I can.

don't understand the question.i guess it depends on what accessories you run.a winch will kill a cheap battery in no time.so will a camper,aux lights, aftermarket stereo, on board air,etc.

Mine lasted 2 years. A buddy of mine only had his 2 years too. Same truck.. bought them the same day. Was about a month apart.

Depends on the conditions.
We're in AZ. Batteries don't last long here.

Most of them only last 5 years regardless. I only run HIDs as far as electrical upgrades

Go by your local autozone type place and have it tested. Less than 85% rated value, replace it. I own my own tester, they are short money and a worthwhile investment. Foxwell BT705, use it on all the toys.
