I've searched RF but couldn't find any info.. So as the title says, ^ what makes the 3.92 rear axel on the 2014 ram Sport 5.7 8-speed better than 3.21......

Better towing also. You'll probably find more in the towing/hauling threads.

Gets bigger tires moving quicker as well, by a lot. To expand on acceleration, more correctly off-the-line acceleration will be greatly increased with the 3.92. I would never consider buying a 3.21 over a 3.92, Id rather walk.

Will tow more weight by a lot as well, look at Ram towing guide. The 3.21 is rated for 4800 pounds with the 3.6 Ram 1500 SLT and just the 3.55 is rated at 7300 pounds, with a 3.92 add another 2k probably over the 3.55.

5.7 laramie crew cab with 3.21 is rated for 7900 pounds versus over 10,000 pound tow rating just by adding the 3,92 gears.
