Best CAI?

I know that this has been asked before but I'm looking to see what you guys have...and if you would get it again.

I know that the stock setup isn't too bad but I'm looking for a little bit of an aggressive sound at WOT and possibly some savings on MPG's...anyone care to share what they have?

Pics would be nice too! :drool:

I have an airaid CAI previous owner installed it but I like it has a nice little hissing sound at WOT to it not annoying but enough to let u know u have one

I can take a pic of it when I get off of work can't upload pics from my phone lol

I think I've heard the vararam is supposed to be really good. I made my own for about 60 bucks, but if I were buying one it would be the volant or vararam.

I had a vararam and truthfully wasn't impressed, I'm seriously considering a volant but the price tag is making me hesitant...also considering an AEM which I understand makes the mopar one also...any thoughts?

There was a thread on here a few days ago where a member installed a K&N 63 Series on his hemi, and was happy with it.

I have the K & N stainless one and it is very aggressive sounding. You could probably do the black plastic one for much cheaper but not sure if it is as loud. I know the black one puts out a bit more power which I read after I bought mine.

I just got the AEM Brute Force and love it! Sounds good and the huge filter looks amazing under the hood. Performs well with a Magnaflow cat-back.

I have the AFE Stage II and I'm pretty happy with it but I'm thinking of swapping to an Airaid for some reason....might be because I'm getting bored...lol

Hey I have the same one the 77 but it's polished aluminum not stainless. Sure performs well and looks nice when u pop the hood!

Thinking of modifying my stock intake and was wondering if there is anyone out there that knows what size cone filter will fit inside the stock air box (air raid,k&n,etc).This is the kit I plan on using http://www.carid.com/images/airaid/air-intake/101-301.jpg I am thinking of adding another inlet to the box and tapping in somewhere around the existing inlet,as well as replacing the stock piping to the throttle body inlet (3.5" or 4").I think the filter in the above kit is not going to fit the box but that is the style I am after or an oval cone.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,Thanks in advance
