The mopar filter is the cheapest.. I was surprised! My dealer only charged me $6.50.. I was expecting like $20.. I was going to use a mopar filter regardless because I'm under warranty.

A lot of us use synthetic media filters, it is spun microglass and filters even better with time, wereas paper blows hole and doesn't filter much at all past 3 months. M1 is a combo filter, part paper, part spun micro glass. But why not us 100% spun? List of known synthetic media filters, Royal Purple my choice, Fram Ultra, Wix XP, Napa Platinum and Amsoil AE. Maybe the new srt filters are also spun, but I'm not 100% convinced. If we find out they are, that would be really cool to add another to the list.

A good synthic filter would be best.
The mopar SRT filter looks to be a great filter.
Royal Purple makes a great filter as does other like Wix, Fram do as well.

I am running Redline 5w30 and a Royal Purple filter in my Hemi and will switch the SRT filter when I change it next time.
