Best way to increase acceleration

Hey guys,

I am total noob here, especially under the hood. :hidesbehindsofa:

So I am curious, what are the best methods for increasing acceleration? This is a 2012 ram 1500 big horn with a 5.7 liter V8. I don't want to go much faster than 65-70, but wouldn't mind feeling a little rush getting there. Thanks for any help you guys offer!

^^^^ what he said. Those 2 mods u will feel the most on butt dyno & while ur at it a Vararam Cai from moes. I just got vararam on sale on moes website for Xmas. I wanna say u will feel the most acceleration from TC. It also cost the most out of 3 mods unless u can install urself. I have edge 2600, DS trinity, vararam

Intake, exhaust, custom tune, torque converter, gears.... supercharger, ported heads, bigger cam... all depends on how quickly you want to get there, and how much you want to spend.

What does hemifever do with the torque converter part of the tune. I always hear people talk about he fixed my shifting issues with my torque converter. What does he change?

I don't know what he does, but I know my truck shifts great now. He just sent me an updated tune the other day with more torque management taken out, but I didn't like the way it shifted (felt like it made the shifts "drag" out), so I installed the original tune he gave me a while back. On that note about the update, he actually emailed me about the update. Unsolicited. Awesome customer service. I have an Edge TC also with a 2600 stall I believe. Had it before I got his tune.

You can always do like I told a girl at work when she asked how to make her scooter go faster.....Lighten the load. She got the scooter to stop driving her jeep all the time since she lives less than 3 miles from work.

I MEANT for her to remove the basket and crap she doesn't use, but everyone else took it as I was saying she was fat.

Well, she is pear shaped, but not really fat.....she's an ex-field hockey player who looks very very good from the waist up....but her huge bottom end just don't do it for me after seeing her overstressed thongs 1 too many times when she bends over.
