My mpg have increased an average of .4 (hand calculated). I know it's not much, but that just shows the oil was definitely hurting something.

the fuel economy goes up just a tad because as oil is introduced into the mix, it has the same effect as lowering the octane in the gas (the fuel is less usable). You'll probably see a very SLIGHT increase in hp (only noticeable from a dyno if at all), and as demonstrated, a very slight increase in mpg (usually only about 3-5%) because of the increased efficiency of the fuel being burned

Are these oil catch can available for pre-2009 5.6L HEMI's? I watched an install video and it seems as though these are only for the 4G. Am I correct?

They can be used on 2005 and up 5.7 and 6.1L engines. I imagine they'll work on others too, but I haven't seen any prior to 2005.

This was the first mod to my new truck. Once I saw the goo that was captured I just couldnt think of running it without it.

I'd like to here what kind of volume others are capturing. After a recent 700 mile trip I had close to half a cup!

This was 80% highway (80mph) and 20% stop & go city downtown chicago.

When I got back I couldnt believe how much goo the catch can had in it.

Anybody?

Yep, thats what I was thinking.

I didnt actually measure it though, probably staret measuring from here on out.

Runs fine otherwise and doesnt seem to be burning oil, doesnt have the tick my '04 hemi had either.

Even at lesser volumes I just couldnt believe that much and the viscosity of the goo is being dumped into the intake, YUK!
