So maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but I can't find any threads about bolt on headers for the 5.7 hemi. I have snapped header bolts and rather then fixing them and putting the stock units back on, I'm probably just going to upgrade while I'm at it. So what are my best options for bolt ons?

jba long tube headers tend to not fit super well, id personally recommend kooks or american racing, more expensive but good quality and fitment,

for shorty headers which will be direct bolt onto factory ypipe bbk makes a nice set and so does jba

My ARH bolted up nicely. Only part that involved slight modification was the dipstick tube as it has to be rebent to clear the primaries

My BBK shorties fit perfect, you do have to repent the dip stick on these also.

Are you guys using stage8's or bolts that came with the kits?

I have regular bolts and have to tighten mine as they are leaking after about 4months of driving. Thinking of going stage8's to fix the loosening issue.

Thoughts?

I dont like the stage 8 bolts and wont use them on my own trucks. The locking clips rattle and have caused a tuning nightmare because the knock sensors pick up false knock due to the rattling clips.

You always want to go back to re torque header bolts after about 500 miles of driving. After that, they should be good and not require you to re tighten them again unless its a cheap header with soft flanges.
