Just throwing a feeler out to my forum friends to see if there is any interest in Borla "intermediate kits" for our '09-'15 Rams. Similar concept that Mufflex did with Magnaflow, but I'm looking to build them with Borla 40349 mufflers and make the tubing from stainless so they'll outlive the other aluminized kits on the market.

Also, would there an interest in a "resonator delete" pipe kit? This would be a replacement tubing that you would cut the pipe before the resonator and this would clamp on. Comes complete with hangers.

Both of these kits would be able to be done in the driveway/garage with simple hand tools. No need to go to a local muffler shop.

If there is interest, what would you be willing to pay for each option? Please PM me. If there is enough interest that I can make them affordable and cost effective for all involved, I will proceed with prototypes immediately.
Thanks in advance :)

You can get a Magnaflow cat-back for about $650 or less shipped which comes with resonator delete, muffler, and 5" tips. Keep that in mind.

If you sell your kit comparable to Mufflex for $300, sell your resonator delete for I would assume $100, thats already $400 and you have not touched the tips. If you can come in at a more reasonable cost, Id say go for it as I would be interested. Not interested in Mufflex (or any bolt-in solution) at $300 anymore.

I think it's a great idea for many of the guys who just want to tinker around and get dirty with their own truck, and save labor costs at the same time. Hopefully it works out to be lucrative for your time and efforts, and affordable for the DIY guys. Good luck

I'm definitely interested in the resonator delete kit. Maybe the muffler kit, too once I've heard one or get more info on the sound difference from the Mufflex/Magnaflow kit.

Definitely interested in the resonator delete kit. Possibly interested in the muffler depending on sound. Have a 14" Magnaflow now and I like it but it's just missing something.

I'm sure there are plenty of interested members but like everything else it should be competitive with the items already on the market. I'm a big fan of borla so I would wait for this as I was already contemplating on getting a mufflex
