Does anyone know what bully dog tuner would be better for 2009 HEMI. It looks like on the website I could get the GT or the HEMI plus one for my vehicle since I was before the encryption days.

Which would be better for my application and why?

Also considering the trinity with custom tune from hemifever. Has anyone tried both?

I am not sure what to do. I was thinking of cutting back and selling truck but now I have the wheels turning in my mind. I noticed bully can do shift points can trinity? I love the idea of instant economy meter too since I don't have that on 2009.

I don't think you'll find a better tune than Hemifever. Just saying

To be honest, with you being a 2009, I would either go with a Superchips Flashpaq or a custom tune from Hemifever using 1 of the Diablo units. The Superchips is going to give you transmission control which isnt offered by Bullydog or Diablo.

You can change shift points and rev limiter, but Superchip's advanced trans tuning is something that none of the other tuners have to offer. I'm suprised that you didnt feel any gains with Superchips because it has been a solid performer for most other guys.

Yeah I never really did much with the trans tuning superchips has even though I paid for it. I then sold the tuner.

I have 4.56 gears so not like I really need more power. I would like to gain an MPG if I can and adjust for tire size.

I tow a lot does the bully allow you to tow like hemifevers 89 tune does?

If you were not happy with Superchips, then I dont think you would be happy with any other canned tuner. I would go straight to Hemifever and let him set you up with a custom tune.

If you buy the Trinity directly from Hemifever he provides a free custom tune, effectively making it the same price as the BD. Just sayin'

I just read that Bully can't turn off MDS if that is true it makes the decision even easier.

i haven't tried BullyDog so i can't say about them, but I did have the canned diablo tune and now the HemiFever tune and it is great. If going the HemiFever route, speak to Sean about what you're wanting to get out of the tune, and he can work his magic

I second every bit of this.
