So my 1-2 shift is at 6000 and 2-4 shift is at 5700. I would like to shift around 6100 but cant go any higher with the tuner. I tried adjusting the tune, then tried going back to stock then reloading the HF tune, then tried going back to stock-updated the tuner- then reloaded HF tune. No change. WTF. Is anyone with a 13 or 14 six speed trans shifting above 6k??? I dont even mind the 6k so much but the 2-4 shifting at 5700 is a doggg.

I posted on the DS forum and am waiting for a reply.

My 11 won't shift pass 5990 period. Even set at 6200 it bangs off the limiter at 5980 according to data logs. It probably will take awhile longer to get there.

Did you raise the limiter? There are plenty of guys with 11s shifting at 6200. My truck was shifting at 6100 when I first got the tune but after switching tunes then back again now it wont go back. I hope the guys at DS can figure it out.

Yes I have raised the limiter and had Sean do the same no dice. I have given up on it as of right now lol.

Can you put the truck in third so it won't shift from second to fourth? That way it'll split that gear shift without such a big drop in rpms. Is it bad to let it shift like that with the "2nd prime" whatever it is called?

I went back to stock then to Diablo tune then to HF tune. So now 1-2 is shifting at 6200 but 2-3 or 2-4 is still at 5700. Mike at DS said he would take a look at it. There is a thread on their forum with a few guys with the same issue that they fixed. It is an adjustment in the tuner so it should work.

I do it like that sometimes but I missed a shift once and hit the rev limiter, so I dont want to do that. Mike from DS is going to check it out, they have fixed a bunch of tunes. I got the 1-2 to shift at 6200 just need to fix the 2-4 shift now.

With my hf 93 tune the shifts are at 5850 will I gain more speed and be better performance wise if I raise the shifts to or over 6k?

My truck was slower with the shift points above 5850..I raised them up to 6200 but after a few days I set it back to 5850...

If you don't have filter/grabber and tubes it won't bring any result. Just see the dyno graphs of stock and modified trucks and compare the power graphs. By this way you can find the optimal shifting rpms.

More is not always better. I think it depends on the mods. Since I took the cats off it revs quicker. Also, greychevy and tyler are two of the fastest na trucks and they did it shifting at 6200+. I'll give it a try and see if I like it. My 2-4 was only shifting at 5700 and felt a little boggy after the shift. I got the fix from DS so I will let y'all know later.:favorites37:

6100 1-2 and 5800 2-3. My truck would never shift any higher than that for the 2-3 so I just gave up and left it there.

Good to know. I installed the DS fix and 1-2 @6200 and 2-4@5900. I dont know what they did but going back to stock then doing the diablo tuner update the diablo tune then HF tune worked for the 1-2 shift. Im gonna leave it be for a while, the tuner froze during one of the tune changes so I dont want to push my luck. I unplugged it then started over and it worked just scared the shizzle outta me.
