:) NOPE, my factory muffler was removed at 225 miles and the FLOWMASTER super 10/5" Black Chrome tips were installed--ALL WELDED-

I see your point but at the same time the factory one is not welded so whats the point.

Not being a ass, But did you have your factory muffler welded in place ?

The factory clamps are pressure/heat--QC passed and they are 200% bigger/stronger than any clamps you can use-

Welding is just a minor CARBON MONOXIDE safety mod that actually is a little step in your DODGE RAM mods--

Have a great day

Ha I really doubt they are any better than the clamps that came with Carven.

Lets not forget about all the people running exhaust that dont even make it to the back of the cab or just to the rear axle.

So here's an update, I driven a little over 1500 miles since the last time I tightened and it hasn't moved an inch. Not sure what I did differently this time but hey it worked(at least for now lol)

Awesome Red. I had the same issue. It slipped off 2 different times but has been a good month or so and no more slippage

hey all, just ordered carven progressive series.MY question is why do the clamp that came with it are of the single bolt per clamp type? nothing like i see on it or in the install videos. All the install videos show a double bolt sleeve type not a single, these look like factory?? thank you

Yes, they did change the clamps to a single bolt clamp from a 2 bolt sleeve clamp. I have the newer ones and haven't had any problems.

I've got the older 2 bolt version and haven't had any issues. Probably about 6 or 7k since I've put it on. Knock on wood.
