So is the progressive muffler pretty loud ?
I want somthing louder then stock for sure but dont want something close to or as loud as straight pipes.

So whats your opinions on this, just wish I could hear one in person lol..

Then go with the progressive, its aggressive at cold start up and when you get into the throttle but pretty calm when cruising.

Well I just added the Progressive muffler tonight. It sounds FANTASTIC outside the cab. But to be honest I would never want anything louder. Its almost too loud for me inside of the cab which is what really is my only complaint. It will take some time to get used to thats for sure... Going from nothing to that is a big jump. I cant believe people buy the Competitor version I would go nuts.

So summary 10/10 exhaust sound
Louder inside the cab then I thought it would be... (im 30) so I dont really wanna hear it inside of the cab to much.
In the exterior of the vehicle it is the perfect amount of noise.
I also ordered mine off ebay and the lady has her own site...

Our Deals Rock is what her website is for the deal everyone is looking for. I ordered through ebay... just to have their coverage.

So I drove all day today... the drone is annoying but you adapt to it. I wont lie to you guys loudness is not an issue.. its loud. I actually thought about putting stock back on because of how loud it is. (Mainly inside of the cabin)

I may still eventually do that but the longer I drive it the more used to the cabin noise I get. It did bug the crap about of me though in the first 20 minutes though.... esp the interstate drone.

Ill be waiting to see everyone elses reviews.

I uploaded a vid on my IG which I usually keep private but Ill make it public for the next 48 hours so you guys can hear it. Reminder Its the progressive installed... just imagine how loud the R series would be.

Man 0 man, does my truck sound mean now or what..

Got home to my Carven Progressive setting on my door step :naughty: install was easy and it fit nice.
If you want your truck loud but not straight pipe loud then I think this is the muffler for you.

Ha my wife dont know about this so it will be funny to see her face when I fire it up when shes around..lol:love51:

Just did the competitor on mine today. What a pain in the **** getting stock clamps off. Had to use cutting wheel on one. Pretty smooth sailing after that. Glad I didn't go with the mufflex muffler delete kit. That would have been obnoxiously loud. The competitor is loud but oh so sweet sounding.

Drone? I just installed the progressive with their 5" tips and minus one speed range I don't have any issues. I drive 90% highway 75-80, barely tell it is there.

For those who also ordered the 5 inch tips, we're the additional clamps NEEDED or the factory clamps work?
