So, I have been in the automotive business/around cars for 25 years. I consider myself pretty adept at doing stuff.
That being said:

I went to put My Billet Technologies catch can on today, and on the first try, I dropped that little FU**ING billet spacer thingy, and it went into the deep unknown, hiding out somewhere in my suspension, or whatnot.
I spent a full 45 minutes looking for that dam thing. :flipthebird:

Anybody got a billet spacer for sale? :roflsquared:

hahaha I feel your pain. I have plenty of bolts and tools I've lost to the abyss in my truck.

Sometimes, maybe, but not this time. It's aluminum.

Bright shiny aluminum. Shine a flash light in or around where the possible trail would have been.
It should reflect back.
Where exactly did you drop it? What area were you over ?
I've done this a couple times and have experience with some abyss areas.

Those buggers take on a life of there own when you pull the bracket.
When I pulled the BT can off the Rebel to put on the new Sport my spacer fell off and rolled under the air compressor. Would of never found it if I did not see roll under there. You can also go a hardware or big box store and look in the hardware rack and get one there.

Have you looked and see if it might have bounced into the fan shroud.

I'm going to get under there again and look for it soon. Thank goodness I don't drive it everyday.

The bigger issue of this entire problem is that without the spacer you will lose any possibility of getting a horsepower gain. I think I read in a forum that some people were getting 45 HP gain by doubling up on the spacers. And lets not forget an added 10 more if you add a decal.
