Jeez Louise people, I'm really getting sick of this mindless topic that keeps coming up over and over, CATCH CANS ARE NOT A PERFORMANCE PART! All it takes a one quick google search to find that out. I find it utterly amazing that with all the helpful technology in the world today with a mass sea of instant information that there are still so many dumb idiots out there that don't even spend the 5 seconds it takes to find an answer to a question like this nor have any what used to be known as "common sense" :whymewhyme:

Dude take it easy the original post title was just for attention. Did you read the post. No need to start throwing out dumb idiots. BTW that makes you sound like one

Did you get the sticker on level without any bubbles? Every bubble is a 0.87 hp loss and every 0.5 degree off level is a 0.5 hp loss :naughty:

Regardless of the OP's original intent, I'm very sick and tired of seeing anything about the silly notion of CCs as a performance part.

I was thinking about getting the Catch Can XL for mine I hear the Preformance gains with it are 5 to 10% higher then with the standard catch can.

This should really complement the Preformance gains I got with my throttle body spacer.

69GWC: If you spend @ least $260-$280 or more on a CAI to compliment that CC & TB spacer you are guaranteed 96.7 HP gain & 46.8 ft lbs more torque & that is @ the rear wheels!

No $hit ---->Says right there on the Box! Right below Ages 13 & Up!
CAI is where it's at!

I will bet I could get Ed Bassmaster as a spokesman!

He is pretty desperate right now!

Dangit,

just went and ordered the best CAI, the K/N . cant wait untill i get all this installed. I will also switch over to E-85 at the same time that should gain me another 50hp.

Then maybe I will get a tune, but I hear there not worth the money compared to the other Preformance options like the CC.

I am curious about the Actual Dyno #'s

1. Dirty CAI & 3/4 Full CC

Compared too

2. New CAI & Empty CC

I bet the numbers would Totally Shock (Millions) of disbelievers!

The Catch Can actually serves a performance purpose. Oil in the intake can lower your actual octane numbers on your gas. Lower octane, lower performance. So there.

I had a catch can in my 300, as well as using a Predator tuner. I am no car expert, far from it. I never calculated HP gains or anything, but I certainly noticed a difference in performance when I went from stock to the 93 octane CAI tune. And I figured thew catch can was doing something because it was filling up will oil that would otherwise go through the engine.

For me, a DD and no racing, I think a tuner just adds better shifting points and pep which is fun. The catch can "seems" to have a purpose. I am contemplating getting a catch can for my Ram because I do believe they help somewhat. It's like the difference between smoking weed in a pipe or a vape, where vaping helps the lungs.

What in the actual F*%k am I reading. I have both but if I had to loose 1, peace out catch can. Catch can has its benefits. But I picked up .68 in the 1/8th mile alone from a tune and intake. Tune all day long
