catch can or tuner which one will give best performance

ok I already know that answer. but help me out. I have a 2017 big horn, should I jump into one of the new tuners out or wait a little longer for others to be the test donkey's? you know who you are :crazy:

You'll need a PCM to go with that tuner.

The catch can will pay dividends down the road. Good choice. That was the first thing that I did to my truck

Tuner may gain you 5 HP increase, but a catch can will get you at least 25 HP gain and is much less expensive. :naughty:

I have never used a tuner. Scratch can will help keep the throttle body clean along with some other benefits.

Unless you count stopping pre-detonation by keeping the motor oil out of your combustion chamber, and preventing the PCM from pulling timing.
So, perhaps not adding HP, but preserving HP. :burnout:

I made a Frankencan out of a garden hose and an old milk jug that's good for 75hp. Stay tuned for the write-up! :crazy:

Anyone watch street outlaws? On the last episode Chuckie in the deathtrap mustang which this season is fast ass car, lost a race and said the reason was he forgot to empty his catch can.... Haha

All BS aside... Ran a catch can for 8 years, 4 years each on a 2011 and 2006 300C... Believe it or not, I could hear and feel when the catchcan needed to be emptied. It was less responsive and you could hear it wasn't 'breathing' as well. Consider what would happen if you put a pag over a portion of your air filter and ran it.

Catch can will save your engine. Tuner will net you some power. Keep in mind you will need an unlocked pcm to install your tuner.
