Have a 2010 Dodge Ram with a Hemi 5.7 and son spun a bearing.
1. how do you get the fan clutch assy. off?
2. can you remove the crankshaft without pulling the transmission?
3. is there enough clearance by pushing the torque converter back that the flywheel and crankshaft will slide out?
4. is the rear main seal set up that will allow the removal of the crankshaft from underneath without pulling the transmission?

I am very mechanical, just have not worked on a Hemi, or change a crankshaft with an automatic transmission.

Thanks
Chris

1. Wrench. Might be reverse threaded not sure of size. Take off belt and fan shroud.
2. Yes you should be able to. You should be able to unbolt it by taking inspection plate off.
3. The thrust bearing will brevent you from doing this once you drop oil pan and unbolt from fly wheel. Should be able to just drop it out by unbolting your mains and rod ends.
4. Cant remember but if you drop the trans which would make it easier, replace the rear mains and all seals while its apart....
