Goodness gracious people. Need more info. What did u buy? What parts. And why the hell would you not buy the same cam and lifters unless you were looking to upgrade the cam.

Check the variable cam timing actuator. It's under the intake manifold. The earlier model ones had a habit of the oil screens falling apart.
