Did she notice what the coolant temp was running ? I know my oil temps will get into the lower 200's when the coolant gets at the high range.

When I moved my daughter and son to college {Both} in the month of August with temps well over 100*F pulling a 2Klb enclosed trailer over 137 miles one way... I seen oil temps reach 220*F going through the hills and valleys... Never a CEL!

That oil temp wouldn't throw a code. You probably have that damn oil pressure sending unit bad. Since you have a14, I've had mine replaced and know a few more that have had that.

If she got gas check the cap. Dealership should pull the code and fix it for free.

I had a bad grill shutter actuator in my first week of ownership. Look into a $20 code reader from Amazon. Nice to know how serious it is and if the dealership is being honest.
