Getting my exhaust changed on my 6.4. Eliminating the y pipe and running dual pipes to a dual in dual out spintech 3000. Usually alway run a dump after the axle but am considering running pipes straight out the back with the tips of the tips(lol) just barely visible under bumper. I don't have a spare under the bed so I'd run the tips closer together. Prob an inch or two on either side of the license plate. So there would only be like 16" between tips. I don't like them spaced out like on the 1500's. Anyone have pics of something similar?

Will eliminating the y pipe make it run a lot better?? I always had true duals on my OLDER trucks. Didn’t know on the newer ones how it would affect it. I put a cat back magnaflow Black series on my 13 ram 5.7, but honestly was curious about headers and better Y pipe and cat set up. I always liked my pipes to come out on a 45* angle Pointed towards bumper corners. This is just my personal opinion but the shot guns coming out closer to the plates does look better than spread out like you said, but I think all shot gun exhausts look “hillbillyish”...lol. That’s just my opinion, but closer together do look cooler.

Mine are gonna be tucked way up and angled down. I agree with u about out the back looking "hillbillyish" I'll let u know about the performance with the y pipe gone. I have two weeks till I get it done so I'm sure I'll change exit locations 100 times till then.

Ok. I'll say I don't like them if they don't have the cutouts in the bumper for them.

I thought you didn’t have the cut outs in the bumper?? Mine come out the back with 5” magnaflow tips BUT if you don’t have the cut outs in the bumper I don’t think shot guns look as clean...again I said it’s just my opinion...

That's what I'm talking about. Any side shots? Mine would be slightly closer together tho because of no spare
