DA Forecasting

Hey guys. I want to go racing this weekend, but the problem is, the closest track is 7 hours away. I really want to make sure I hit the best air possible. The only two viable options right now are Friday evening from 7 to 11pm, or Sunday from 11am to 4pm (they are calling for rain all day Saturday). I know Barometric pressure plays a big role in DA. Since they are calling for rain Saturday, I'm assuming the Barometric pressure will be decreasing Friday evening, therefore, rising the DA. Sunday is the opposite, with the forecast calling for nicer weather until Wednesday, but with warmer temperatures and sunny. I'm not sure when to go, and I really want to make it count because it is the last test and tune session of the year. I included the link to the local weather so you can check out the forecast. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

The calculation for DA is pretty straightforward. I'd just plug in the info for a few different times and see what looks best.

What is the name of the track you plan to race at?

It's Cayuga Dragway, also know as Toronto Motorsports Park.

The foretasted DA on Friday night is around -350' to -500'. The weather forecast I'm looking at shows it to be clear on Saturday and rain all day Sunday though. I would say go on Friday.

I get the weather info from www.wunderground.com and just put it into the chart on the Dragtimes link above.
