Diablosport Predator?

So I got my Magnaflow installed last week and in that thread I was aimed towards getting a programmer over an intake for the next mod. Well, turns out I got a buddy of mine who has been sitting on one for a while that he bought originally for his 05 WK Jeep. Apparently it doesn't work for his year...fast forward to this weekend, he wants to get new shoes for his daily driver and wants to know if I'm interested in buying the Predator from him. It's beat up physically but the screen works fine and it programmed up my truck no problems (I was a guinea pig to make sure it even worked at all lol).

So I guess my question is, is it worth the $200 he's asking for it? Any input appreciated guys and gals!

Yes, for only $200, I would jump on that deal. Since you said you already installed it, what do you think so far? Or have you not driven it yet?

Does he have the PC interface cable and power supply cable as well? If so, snap those up! You'll need 'em. What model is it?

He thinks he has the PC interface, he has to find it. It's the U7137, apparently works for 2006 Jeeps, not his 2005.

Dont tell your friend, but the U7137 works on the 05-up Grand Cherokees.

He's got the Hemi also...when he tried programming his truck it came up with an error though...? I don't remember exactly, but something with TCM maybe?

So I took everyone's advice and bought. He still needs to find the computer cable, but it's not the end of the world....I might even splurge on the USB one. So far the truck has been tuned with the 87 tune...shifts seem better, and it seems to stay in 4 cylinder mode more while maintaining speed, a product of more power I guess? When (if) gas comes back down, I'm going to look forward to booting up the 93 tune!
