Ok so I was going to supercharge my 14 ram and call it good, but no.
I decided I'm going to go all out. Well as all out as I can go and still be legal here in ca. I'm thinking blower, head work, cam, pistons..how far can I go on a stock block? What would you guys do if you had the resources to do so?
Thx

Could always swap in a 6.4 from an SRT car.

Use the truck intake, front cover, and oil pan and shablam. 485hp/475tq.

If I'm not mistaken I could get better numbers with these mods on my 5.7...my main concern is smog. I don't know how far I can get staying legal

I am in the process of stroking my 5.7 to 6.4 with all forged components from Campbell industries. I purchased the Power package from Arrington: heads, comp 270 cam, and all necessary parts to install. I will finish off with a Hemifever tune and larger injectors. I am hoping for 500 RWHP. Later I would like to add the Whipple SC.

high flow cats wont pass a sniffer or visual.

i feel like you might be ******* in the wind trying accomplish both. its one or the other. if being smog legal is more important, i'd throw a blower on it and call it a day. SMOG check points are popping up all over where i live.

Agreed, smog legal just throw the super charger in and call it done.
You can't even move the factory cats, let alone use high flow cats. That being said, the way I understand it is high flow cats are a fix it ticket if caught. No cats can be something like $1k fine for each missing cat.
