Default Dual Exhaust with Single Exhaust Bumper
I just ordered a dual exhaust kit from Stainless Works and my rear bumper cover is the single tip version without the cutouts. I was looking at getting a dual cutout bumper originally but to save money, would I be able to adjust the exhaust tips to lower them so they just hang below the bumper and don't touch it? How hard would that be to do? I will be doing the work myself with minimal tools available. Thanks!

I guess the SW kit will have adjustable tips like the oem

I did the oem single to dual conversion and didn't like the tips sticking out like that.

Tradesman single outlet muffler suggestion

I decided to have turn down behind the muffler instead

Now that's a great sounding truck!! 2 questions: any drone from your new setup? And, do you notice any improvement from the Hellwig rear sway bar? (we tow a 5000lb 25' travel trailer and wonder if that new sway bare might help the ride)
Anyway, great writeup and soundclip. thanks!

Thanks!

After installing the J-pipe the drone was gone. When I'll install my SW headers, I'll try without the j-pipe first since the Y is near the muffler with this kit and might just work without it.

The rear sway bar is one of the best if not the best usable mod I did to the truck. It doesn't just help with cornering, but also make the truck more stable at highway speed. With my 2500lbs tent trailer I noticed that when there's high side wind the truck and trailer no longer sway. It's crazy how this single piece of metal completely changed the truck.

OP, do you have the SW headers already?

This is the only pictures I have.
Anyone running the Mufflex J-Pipe DODJP?

This is the part I used. You can use it with any mufflers, not just the mufflex ones
