Buddy of mine told me to run my exhaust brake all the time on my 2013 Ram 2500 w/6.7 Cummins. He claims it will keep the filter clean. Does he know what he is talking about???

It'll cost you some fuel on the highway when unloaded because the truck won't coast well, but it is good to use it more than not around town. Keeps the turbo vanes moving and such. Not sure about the filter theory.
