So my wife keeps nagging that my truck is too loud when I start it in the morning. I'm not getting rid of my exhaust LOL. So I've been thinking of ways to maybe run my stock muffler inline and have it divert the the start ups to stock and once off my street switch it.

I don't want to lose the dual. So I don't want to shut off one of the pipes and dedicate to the stock and one to Flowmaster. I want the flow master to go out duals. I don't mind if the stock runs under the truck unless this is an issue.

Any advice from some handy guys would be great!!

There is not enough room under the truck for two mufflers.

I have a cut out and it's run back to the duals after the muffler and I can turn it off to go thru the stock setup.
Slight rumble at startup.

I was afraid that space would be limited..... what if I get a Flowmaster 10 series (tiny) and the stock "sport" muffler is not that big also

The OEM "sport" muffler is the same size as the OEM standard muffler..... you're trying to put 2 exhaust systems on one vehicle, not enough room and it will be crap. Plus you'll have to get a cut out.

Cut out. To stock muffler or pipe back after muffler. The cut out to the duals in the rear is a great sound.
You could replace my stock with your flowmaster

Thanks for the pics!!! That looks like a very clean install you got.

My 2008 stock muffler was probably twice the size of my 2017 muffler. At least that's what I remember.

I like the previous suggestion to park down the street. Happy wife, happy life, but what she don't know can't upset her. :naughty:

So...... install cutout before stock muffler. Could I run Y piping from the cutout to the two pipes going out the back? As stupid as it sounds i don't want the sound coming out out of just one. I like the stereo affect with the dials right now.
