I was thinking of deleting my muffler, just doing 2.25 x-pipe over the axle and out the back... 1. Good idea?
2. If a good idea, would it drone/be obnoxious?

I think that chart is way off...watch this video

Is this better?

Here's the thing, I'm keeping the dual pipe set up, everything now is set up for that.

When the pipes say Max hp, how close do you want to be to the max before it's consitered overkill.
I'm going to downgrade to 2.25 per pipe which according the this char has Max hp of 416 ( I'm guessing straight through design) I have a muffler so that should reduce the amount of cfm so I'm guessing that will lower the overall Max hp of the system, so will 310bhp, still be too far away?

According to this chart 2 2inch pipe gets me closer to we're I need to be at 328hp. I need 1.9inch pipe to be exact haha.
IF I do 2 inch pipe do I need to adjust it on both sides of the muffler 2inch in 2 inch out, or can I leave the rear pipes at 2.25 if I do 2 in.ef8de33acdf9028fa91e579fc1be55e7.jpg

Does that muffler act like an H or X pipe with the exhaust flow from dual pipes?
I could not find a cutout diagram of inside how it functions.
You need H-pipe configuration for low end torque, helps with exhaust velocity like the Y-pipe.
X-pipe for high rpm performance.

I feel like an idiot I thought I has the 50 series HD... I have the super 50 which says for big displacement engines... I'm wondering if that's too big. Flownasters have too many damn mufflers with 50 in them.7a8713182d0f4fc38dcd1dfc62f498c3.jpg

I think reducing it helped, a few times I saw it dip below 12 while cruise was set but I didn't feel like the truck was struggling to stay at 70, I even noticed my truck was slowly starting to speed, I haven't seen it creep to 75 wile getting 15+mpg... I'll do another test tonight's
