Exhaust manifold fixed!

So I just wanted to give an update. I had the hemi tick real bad. 45k miles on the truck. Took it to the dealer today. They fixed it. I had two broken bolts on the passenger side. Three more broke while they were taking the manifold off. Sooooo glad I didn't try to fix it myself. FIVE broken bolts. They replaced all the bolts and the gasket.

Just waiting until the driver side goes. Hopefully it's prior to 5/100k!! Then it's headers for me!

If anyone is in south east Michigan and needs a good Ram dealer, Suburban Dodge Ram in Farmington Hills is the place to go!
Zero hassle.

Forgot to add, shout out to ramcares, who answered a question of mine at 7 am this morning within a matter of minutes. Very helpful.

Honestly, if they do break again, it won't bother me (as long as it's still under warranty). It got fixed in less than a day. Plus the dealership drove me home and picked me up! And they washed the truck for me. This was my first experience with warranty work at the dealership. I thought it would be like pulling teeth. But it was painless.

Im gonna recap what i did to see if longevity is better
2011 ram 1500 hemi
Tick at cold start top rear broke pass side
Removed manifold
Had planed as it was deff warped
New oem gasket and bolts
Used copper gasket spray on gasket
Torqued all bolts per manual spec and order
Im at 37000 miles
I will update if this post still exist if they break

Cost me about 110 buck with machining manifold and 2 beers for my buddy to extract stud via weld method.

Shoot I would atleast maybe then you wont have to extract any bolts maybe. lol

I purchased new gaskets and new exhuast bolt kit and did my wifes in about an hour.

Really easy actually. (If you have the means)

Kori: Can you look into this matter and tell us why exactly these manifolds are getting so hot that they Warp and break these bolts?

I'm assuming just by all of these that are happening these parts are extremely poor quality and should've been replaced with better quality parts years ago.

That's covered on the 5 year 100k powertrain warranty correct? Just made an appointment to get mine I'm Monday. Don't want to pay them to do something I can do myself. If the warranty doesn't cover it. Mines a 2013 with 75k
