New to forum all your input will be appreciated. My question is, if you remove cat and dpf and straight pipe the exhaust, must you egr delete or ? Has anyone tried this and what was your outcome? I have a 2012 ram 2500 with cummins and a banks programmer.

You don't have to delete the EGR. If you remove the DPF and NOX filters you will need a different tuner, the Banks programmer isn't delete capable.

As stated above, your Banks tuner isn't delete capable so you won't be deleting anything with that. You'll need to look at either an H&S Minimaxx or XRT Pro, RaceME Ultra, or EFI Live to start.
You don't need to physically remove the EGR/cooler when deleting but I would recommend it. If it's still installed exhaust gas will still pass through the system and back into the intake.
