Which Exhaust Tips

Thinking bout get some black 5" tips.... which are better. Carven or Moe's ??? Input would be appreciated

You can get them cheaper on eBay.... I bought mine for $40 each. Had to get them welded on of course (about $50). So about $130 invested....

The Craven and the set from Moe's look great though! I wouuld highly recommend welding those too. You don't want them to fall off for that $$.

I like the Moe's 5" tips a lot better since they have the rolled lip, but they don't make them in black I don't think.... but you can paint them. Carven's come in black but to me look like someone painted a soup can black and stuck in on as a exhaust tip. I do think the newer Craven's with the slash cut are a lot better then the old straight cut style.

yes they are direct replacement. They do not come with new clamps but there is an option to purchase the new clamps. My clamps are still practically new so I was able to use them.

For paint I used Rustoleum High Temp Primer and Rustoleum High temp engine enamel (glossy black) that I got from Lowes.

I got carvens and now they have the 5inch slash cut. Search someone just posted photos, they look amazing.

I caved in and purchased a set from Carven. The questionable part is will they fit on my Borla SS catback exhaust system. I know that they will need to be welded on in place of the current Borla 5" tips. But I would rather have all black tips then the stainless steel of the Borla.
