So i bought a Flowmaster Super 10 2.5in Dual in/out, right now i have a Super 44 single in / dual out on my truck. I don't know the exact size of any of the piping because my truck came with it when I bought it (used). Anyone have any idea of how much it would cost to run 2.5 inch pipe from both headers, to the Super 10, then dual out to the bumper??? None of the muffler shops around here will respond to emails and I don't feel like wasting time to just go ask around to see about what the price is.

Any help is apprecated

Sadly you will have to stop at the shops. You can try calling them up but they will all give you a ball park price to do the job or some will flat out tell you they have to come in and check it out.

Figure on spending a couple hundred bucks to do the job though.

Take it to a muffler shop and they can give you a price.

Now you said headers, do you have aftermarket headers and a tune?

If not, you'll see a decrease in HP and toque believe it or not by doing dual. The backend pressure is decreased which then reduces the torque.

But you will gain a little bit at almost max RPM.

I got quoted $500 and that was supplying 2 super 10's with a x pipe, modify the y pipe to true duel pipe back to the axle.... It is probably something close to that, subtract what part cost you may already have. I believe the Y pipe is already 2.5", just need to split and rework the existing Y pipe and run it to the muffler..

But as suggested, gotta go talk to them... most shops wont take you serious if your not there and they wont quote you unless they can see the job in front of them

I got it done a few weeks ago but forgot to come back to this thread. The total was $160 to run dual 2.5inch pipe, install the super 10, and cut out the resonators. The piping after the old muffler was already 2.5inch so i didn't have to get any of that changed

I liked it but I'm a very outgoing person, i like loud things and the Super 10 is definitely louder than the 44. At idle and regular driving its nice and deep but when i really give it gas my girlfriend can hear me leaving my road and i live about 4 miles from her house

I had 2 trucks with them not 2 on a single truck. I wanted to go with 2 but I was told it would be a chopped up mess. Sorry for the confusion

I am new to this forum and new to Ram trucks. I have had Chevys all of my life and just got my 2014 Ram last September. I am mechanically inclined, but don't know much about the Ram. I would like to replace my exhaust with "true duals". It looks like the exhaust I have now is stock. It comes off of the manifolds into one huge muffler and then duals out to the bumper cut outs. I was informed by friends that changing the exhaust to "true duals" would reduce performance. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
