Flowmaster tips?

So I got my black Flowmaster tips in today and they both have indentions on the under side of them. Idk if they are just dents or a way to help you make sure they're straight. Does anyone else with the Flowmaster tips have these?

Im in process on it. eBay retailer contacted Flowmaster. Its taking forever and Im getting a little aggravated.

I looked at these and they said they didn't fit the 2012 so I grabbed the carven.

Not sure what you paid but I love the carven if you get your money back.

They are flat black tho, not gloss.

Why don't you just call Flowmaster customer service yourself and see what they say??? Save you a lot of time and hassle...

It's the principle of the thing. They sold me a damaged item so they need to sort it out. If it's not taken care of soon I'll just invoke the eBay buyer protection and get a refund.

Yes, they're similar but not the same and in different places on each tip. I honestly don't know how it could've happened though as the box is not damaged at all.

Just my opinion but I don't think they're damaged.

I think they came that way and those indentions while not symetrical, are there for a reason.

Both are on the bottom side of the tips?

I was torn also hence the question here but I messaged the Flowmaster rep before I ever contacted the seller on eBay and according to Flowmaster there should be no indentions on them.

Really? Id do the ebay protection money back now. Eff that. Those do look nice tho, minus the dents.

Or at least get em to give you a percentage of your money back... you wont see the dents anyway if you face them up.

I wonder how many times he tried to get rid of these in hopes there wouldn't be a complaint.

Get your money back or new tips at sellers expense.

Yeah they shouldn't be like that at all. Should be no dents on it that is damaged

Well they've pissed me off enough that I've already ordered a set of the new slash cut black Carvens so I don't even want them anymore. I just am gonna try and get my money back. If I have to exchange them I'll sell them on and take it as a lesson.

Finally got the return/refund process started today after all the retailers BS. Looking forward to getting the Carvens in and installed.

Yeah, I prefer the slash cut. The others don't look bad though. Carven rep said they'd been discontinued and replaced with the slash cut ones.
