Hello All,
On my 2nd Ram. Downsized from my 05 2500 CTD after finding the frame rotting out thanks to our wonderful New England winters and the chemicals they use on the roads to a 2013 1500 with a 5.7. I'm getting the P0628 code after driving for at least 50 miles on rainy days. Fuel Pump A -Cntrl Circuit low. Where is the fuel pump control module located? I'd like to check and clean the connection before ordering the part. When checking it with the OBD2 reader and clear the trouble code there is a 2nd one that says "permanent". Will this clear if I replace the module?

Thanks in advance.

it's under the truck somewhere. lol

I had the same code on my '13. Only mine popped up after driving about 40 miles on a clear sunny day. I cleared it, have driven a few hundred miles and it hasn't come back.

I believe it's on top of the tank/pump. There is another sensor along the fuel rail.

There's a module of some sort above and to the right of the fuel tank. I'm assuming that's the fuel pump control module...

I was afraid of that. I hope I don't have to drop the tank to get to it. Thanks for your help.

Everything I've read is that you don't have to drop the tank. And replacement, used modules can be had on Ebay for $40 or so. If that's the problem.

That's good to know. Everything points to the module. Only happens when it wet driving and after 50 miles or so. I have one coming from one of the OEM part sites. $10 for the part and $12 for shipping (figures). Beats paying the markup at the local dealer.
