Just got back home to a bunch of goodies waiting for me.
Load lifter 5000 rear bags, some resistors for my Recon LED reverse bulbs, ATI underdrive pulley, Recon FireN'Ice tailgate light bar, and a 180tstat. Let the fun begin!!

Well that was filled with a lot of beer and headache. Nothing like just using the right tool for the job after trying to force something ha. Anyways, bags went in pretty straight forward. Mounted some resistors so they look all pretty behind my tail lights. Gonna try the new bags out today as I'm heading up for some snowmachining. Fully loaded and I've still got my rake. It's a beautiful thing.

Haha thanks guys. Yeah I was going to do out the bottom two license plate bolts but figured the way snow piles up back there they would be more accessible in the gas cap area. Plus it probably looks a bit cleaner.

Not yet. Putting that on tomorrow and my Bilstein 5100's. So excited!!

Do those bags replace the springs or do they go inside the spring?

They actually go where your jounce bumpers are. You grind the welds off on the bumpers and use the factory mounting bracket that's welded to the frame to attach the upper piece of the airbag. That was by far the longest part of the entire install. Trying to get a tool in there to grind the welds off was a pain.

Okay I'll load my sled up in there and get that picture of the track sticking out also haha.

Excellent job, can't wait to see it with a load aboard. Thinking to do the same.

That's with the Bilstein 5100's installed. I'll have a my sled in there by the end of day and take a quick picture. Airbags are currently at around 20#. Capacity for them are 5-100#.

Haha thanks. Don't tell anyone but I was actually a Chevy guy and it was the color of the truck sitting roadside on the lot that pulled me in to look at it. Haha. Total girl moment. So come summer time when I take this thing to the strip I'll drop my front end back down and I'd like to drop my rear end down. It isn't hard to remove the airbags. Do I have to replace the coils and shocks to lower the rear? Anything else?

What bed cover is that? better pics of it?

It's a Peragon tonneau cover that's painted to match. It folds up into the front of the bed and there's a quick release tab at the front that will release the whole folded up cover takes less than a minute to pull out or reinstall.

Here's it with a load in there and also snapped a picture to show how much track sticks out with the 163" for ya f75118aefbe9aefd594ef2a7a98c5a04.jpg3c3e1c43dd60ad58be8a615ce549983f.jpgXRSMAN.

Only option is rear to front. The weather seal is actually great. I bought their weather sealant package for the tailgate but actually haven't installed that yet and the regular weather stripping on the whole unit has been superb so it hasn't crossed my mind.
