That would all depend on what you need and what you use your vehicle for. Do you already have your truck or thinking about buying one?

Tire size, driving style, average driving speed, transmission type, tow or not? These must be known to make a recommendation.

His info says 2012 5.7L, so I'd think it's safe to assume 6 speed, since the 8 wasn't available till 2013.

That would also assume it's a 1500, a 2500 runs a 66rfe which has different gear ratios.

Alex, if you have a 2012 1500 with 3.55's, then I would go with 4.10's. I am a big fan of higher gear ratios, but with the extra cost and hassle of stepping up to a 4.56, I feel the 4.10 is the best way to go.

If you already have 3.92's, then I would go straight to a 4.56 as the jump from 3.92 to 4.10 wouldn't be worth the cost of parts and labor.

With that cam, you want no less than 4.10 gears with a 3200-3400 stall tq converter.
