I am currently looking for a good exhaust system to replace my factory dual with. I was looking into a Borla exhaust kit which was suggested to me by a friend. I don't know a whole lot about exhaust systems unfortunately.. I was just wondering what good suggestions are out there. My main concern is sound and some extra horse power to go with.

Thanks for any info!

Borla makes some of the highest quality cat back exhaust systems available. They do have a kit for your truck that has dual pipes behind the muffler with 5" Polished tips. They are pricy compared to some other brands, but quality comes at a cost. If you want a bolt on kit for a little less money, then take a look at the Magnaflow Catback systems.

If you're into performance exhaust, look into the corsa db catback system. Not as loud as a magnaflow or flowmaster, but it's of high quality components

Matt knows his stuff for sure.

For me it would be a toss up between Borla and Magnaflow. Flowmaster shold not even enter into the equation.

Do you by any chance have a vid with this exhaust set up?

I currently do not, sorry about that. It was on my 2010, but i'm waiting for my new bumpers to come in to install it on my 2012. The best I can describe the sound is that it makes it sound more like a diesel engine.

Thanks for the advice guys. I did some research and talked to some mopar fanatics back home and the Blora seems to be a good option. I was leaning towards the Corsa DB but I like the sound better in the Blora system.

Thanks again guys!

Borla isn't the cheapest, but they are good quality. I ran Borla on Camaros and a Corvette and they were all great.

If money isn't a issue then go with blora for sure. But between MF and FM I would go with FM every time no questions asked. I live how mine sound both sitting there and when k mash the gas.

I have a borla xps series 24 inch i believe, welded in with dual 4 1/2 tips, sounds absolutely mean on my 4.7 and it cost me half the price the actual catback does.

I have the Corsa on my 2011 Ram. My truck sounds sick
